Located within the world-class Red Sea resort town of El Gouna, the Red Sea Coast is rapidly developing into a golfing paradise. Ancient Sands offers a world-class, 18-hole, par 73 championship golf course and state of art 3-hole golf academy with a full practice facility, designed by world renowned golf course architect Karl Litten. Ancient Sands Golf Course is an oasis in the midst of the development, the Course carefully balances the desert landscape with lush fairways to create a truly enjoyable course, designed to appeal to golfers of all standards. The course follows the natural topography of the site, with lagoons creating natural water hazards for many of the holes. Several greens approach shots over lagoons, holes 13,15 and 18 semi-island greens. Hole 2 is a 600 meters Par 6, one of kind not designed anywhere in the region.
